About the event
Black History Month Fashion Show
Celebrating Student Designers, Black History & UJAMAA
Join us for a powerful and inspiring day celebrating Black history, creativity, and community at the Black History Month Fashion Show, presented by Please Don’t Die Black Men (PDDBM).
This special event marks the first-ever fashion show for our student designers, showcasing original designs created by youth participating in PDDBM’s afterschool fashion design program. Students will debut their work on the runway, highlighting creativity, confidence, and cultural expression.
The day begins with Black History Exhibits and UJAMAA, emphasizing cooperative economics, community engagement, and the importance of learning and building together. Guests will then enjoy a professionally produced fashion show, followed by an afternoon of exhibits, dinner, and continued community connection.
🎟️ Tickets are required and seating is limited.
