To promote and honor African American and Black culture, PDDBM will conduct a Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration. The festival will come to a close with the Karamu communal feast. Kwanzaa is a time for families and communities to get together to honor African American aspirations and to feel self-affirmation, healing, and nostalgia.
