PDDBM Paid Model Program
Welcome to the Please Don't Die Black Men (PDDBM) Paid Model Program!
As PDDBM continues to grow, we are committed to providing a more organized, transparent, and professional experience for every model who works with our organization. We are excited to announce the launch of our new PDDBM Paid Model Application, which is now required for all models interested in paid modeling opportunities with PDDBM.
Whether you are a returning model or applying for the first time, every applicant must complete the Paid Model Application before being considered for paid modeling opportunities.
One-Time Application
The PDDBM Paid Model Application is a one-time application that will remain active through September 30, 2029. Once your application has been approved and placed on file, you will not need to submit another application unless your contact information, availability, measurements, emergency contacts, or other important information changes.

How the Process Works
Step 1
Complete the PDDBM Paid Model Application.
Step 2
If you are selected for a paid modeling opportunity, PDDBM will contact you to begin the PDDBM Model Onboarding Process.
The onboarding process includes:
-
Identity verification (two valid forms of identification)
-
Required participation agreements
-
Compensation and payment documentation
-
Event schedules and expectations
-
Any additional required paperwork
Only models who are selected for a paid modeling opportunity and successfully complete the onboarding process will be scheduled to participate in an event and receive compensation in accordance with their individual event agreement.
Application Review Schedule
PDDBM accepts applications year-round and conducts two primary application review periods each year.
April 1 – September 30
Applications received during this period are primarily considered for fall and winter paid modeling opportunities.
October 1 – March 31
Applications received during this period are primarily considered for spring and early summer paid modeling opportunities.
Applications are reviewed and processed in the order they are received. Selection is based on event needs, applicant qualifications, availability, successful completion of the onboarding process (if selected), and the number of modeling positions available.
Please note that completing a Paid Model Application does not guarantee selection for a specific event.
We look forward to welcoming both returning and new models as we continue building one of the region's premier community modeling programs.
