The Spring 2025 Edition of PDDBM PROUD Magazine continues the powerful legacy of youth storytelling by and for middle and high school students. Created through PDDBM’s free journalism afterschool program, this edition reflects the resilience, thoughtfulness, and creativity of young people exploring topics that matter most to today’s teens.
 
From mental health and friendship to bullying, identity, and positivity, student journalists selected their own topics and wrote from personal experience—many including heartfelt reflections on why their chosen subject was important to them. This issue features bold, honest writing supported by carefully curated royalty-free images, thoughtfully chosen to enhance the messages in each article.
